Four free utilities, each doing one thing macOS doesn't do for you. No subscriptions, no accounts, nothing phoning home.
Copy text you can't select — scanned PDFs, error dialogs, remote desktop sessions, paused video. Drag a box, it's on your clipboard.
Rename hundreds of files at once. Stack up steps, see every new name before you commit, and undo the lot in one click.
Tidy up before you share your screen. Hides desktop clutter, the Dock and noisy apps — then puts it all back exactly as it was.
See what's running on your localhost ports and kill that stuck dev server
with one click. No more lsof then kill -9.
None of these is code-signed with an Apple certificate yet, so macOS will block the first launch. Right-click the app and choose Open rather than double-clicking — that offers a bypass the normal launch doesn't. You only do it once per app. Each app's page has the details.
They're free. If one saves you some time, there's a tip link on each page — entirely optional.
